Progress Information 
This is a brief outline of the requirements to achieve this promotion. A more detailed curriculum is available at our school. 
Purple Belt 

A student must achieve a minimum of 3 tips to advance to Blue Belt.

Must attend 8 Sparring Classes (Before 3rd Tip)

 

Testing for the rank of Blue, Purple, 3rd Kyu Brown:

 

• Drills: Include Intermediate Blocks Kicks and Strikes and Stances

• KATA: Perform 1 Beginner Kata &  the Katas you needed for your last 2 tips (Pinan 1, 2, 3, or Naifuhanchi, Tenino)

• Ippons: Perform Intermediate Ippon Kumite Kata for your last 3 tips 

• Self Defense: Perform all of your Self Defese techniques from your last 3 tips

• Bag Drills & Cardio, Sparring: Must attend 8 Sparring Classes (Before 3rd Tip)
