BELT EXAMS

 

Belt Testing Procedures:

 

  • All students testing should have all belt tips prior to the Testing day

  • Complete your Exam Request Form 1 week Prior to your Exam along with your Exam Fee (Chart at the Academy)

  • Protective Equipment must NOT be tattered or taped.  (Good Condition, and comfortably fitting)

  • You must wear a complete uniform clean & pressed (Only official CMK Patches are allowed on your uniform)

  • You must arrive 30 minutes prior to your test.

  • Belt Testing are held on Saturdays from 1030a - 12p for Beginners and From 1p - 6 for Advanced

  • The school will offer make-up exams for special occasions 2 – 6 weeks after the scheduled exam.

    These make-ups are only for students who qualify and are approved by their instructor.

    There WILL be an additional $20 charge.

    (Excludes Black Belt Exams)


Tip Testing Schedule 

No Classes on Tip Testing Day!

 

  • Tip Testing are on Tuesdays and Wednesday every 4 - 6 weeks

  • Please check the school calendar for dates

  • Full Uniform must be worn

  • Check your attendance card for minimum amount class to qualify for tip testing

  • Practice and have FUN

 

Here is how tip testing works:  Arrive on time for your class.  Hand your attendance card to your instructor at the begining of class.  We only tip test on the specified days posted.  If you miss a tip test, you can schedule a Private Lesson with one of our Black Belt Instructors and make it up then.

Our school will hold Belt Exams once every 2 cycles (this is every other month). View our Calendar Here

 

This will help students and families to better plan their activities around belt exams.

Intermediate and Advanced Belts must have 8 - 10 sparring classes to test for 3rd tip.

 

New Attendance cards will be given to Intermediate and Advanced Belts when they receive their Belt Promotion.

Please remember to Look at the exam dates, write those dates down. They are your belt exams!
